Eleanor & Park

Every one has a different definition for romance. Apparently back in 1986 romance was not so cheezy as we know it now...

My Reviews(spoiler_free)......

Eleanor is the newbie in the school.Park is the Asian kid who wants nothing more than to be ignored.When Eleanor walks into the bus wearing men clothes looking weird as hell everyone makes fun of her but Park taking pity on her allows her to sit beside him.We follow this story in dual POV.

Eleanor:She has come back home after being kicked out by her stepfather last year.With 5 siblings she has never enough for herself.Living this miserable life Eleanor doesn't wants to let anyone in.Being slightly fat doesn't help her case instead just gives the bullies another point to mock her.

Park:Park is a nerdy guy who loves reading comics and listening to music.He wants nothing more than to be ignored and left alone by the bullies.He also thinks that he is a huge disappointment to his father as he can not drive a stick.

We follow the story of Eleanor and Park as they fight their own demons and as these two completely different people fall in love.This a beautiful story of first love where you have everything and nothing to lose.

CINDER(THE LUNAR CHRONICLES #1)

I'm not much of a sci-fi reader.But when i heard that Cinder was a retelling of cinderella plus sci-fi stuff i was curious to see the blend.I must say it was a hell lot of good debut novel.

Cinder is a 16 year old gifted mechanic and a Cyborg though not by choice.She is forced to earn money for her stepmother who claims that Cinder owes many debts  to her.Life is miserable for her until one day Prince Kai shows up on her shop asking her to repair his android.Though being a cyborg Cinder can't blush,her heart does flutter at the sight of the beautiful prince.Things start to go downhill when she is held responsible for her step sister catching the deadly plague.

Problems are not only surrounding Cinder's life but her country,New Beijing's too.The Lunar Queen threatens to start a war against earth if all her demands are not met namely if Prince Kai doesn't marry her.

Cinder must uncover the lies and secrets surrounding her in order to save herself and earth.......

My Experience........

It was new too me cause i'm not a sci-fi person.I got a little lost in this amazing world.I'm looking forward to see what happens in the end of this series.

RED QUEEN

I wounder what will happen if we merge The Selection,Hunger Games and Divergent?Well i no longer have to wonder because after reading Red Queen i know what happens.

A society is divided into two sections.The Silvers and the Reds.The Silvers have powers and the Reds don't so the Reds are treated worse than animals.They are sent to the front lines to fight a unending war which has been going on for over a century.Mare Barrow is a 17 year old Red who is soon going to be a recruit.She is a thief and pickpockets people for her family survival.One day her ordinary life is turned upside down when her friend Kilhorn loses his job and is going to be sent to the front lines.

Desperation leads to her making many hasty moves which lands her into a job in the palace surrounded by the Silvers she hates so much.Where the Silvers discover that despite been a Red she has god-like powers like them.What will happen to Mare as she plays this dangerous game of life and death?Will she survive it?

My Experience.......

I couldn't put this book down once i picked it up.The plot twist was so......MIND=BLOWN.This book is one of a kind.

MOCKINGJAY(THG#3)

'IF WE BURN,YOU BURN WITH US!!!!'

Oh my god.This book made my blood boil.It rouse me to rebel against all the evil in this world.Gave me the strength to fight my inside demons and defeat me.And finally it made me cry.A perfect wrap up to a perfect series.

My Reviews..........
Katniss Everdeen has been crippled the worst way she could.Her district(12) has been bombed and destroyed. Peeta has been captured by the capitol.As she joins hands with President Coin who is the head of the rebelian group in district 13.She has agreed to become the face of this rebelian against the capitol .But the capitol has succeeded in one thing,in mentally damaging Katniss(not making her mad,not in that sense).She has one motive,to save Peeta. Also to make Snow pay for what he has done to her district.
But will she loose everything that's left in her mission to destroy Snow?

MOVIES.....
Part 1
Amazing.The soundtrack was over the top.They completely stuck to the books.rating:4.5/5 stars
Part 2
Amazing.The rumor was that a certain person was not going to die but they did and it was guesome and horrifing if you are watching it alone at 2 in night in the dark.Also they messed but the ending.Though the in the future clip completely touched my heart.rating:3.5/5 stars

CATCHING FIRE(THG#2)

My favorite book in the trilogy,Catching Fire,is the second book in The Hunger Games Trilogy.Usually the second books in a series are not so great,usually.But as you might have guessed when I told its my favorite among the three,it is equally awesome if not better.

A little recap of the story till now........
Katniss Everdeen is responsible to feed her family.This burden fell on her shoulders at a young age of 12 when her father died in a mining accident.She enters into the forbiddened forests,violating many of the Capitol's rule which could lead to her immediate execution.Its the day of choosing tributes for the hunger games.As Effi Trinket pulls out her beloved little sister's name from the girl tribute slot,the world crumbles around Katniss. She immediately volunteers for her sister to save her. Also ,she promises to win this game for her sister.
But it is not so easy.She has to act like a different person.Also she has stumbled across her so called "star-cross-lover" Peeta Mellark........
What damage will it cause on her soul?Will she survive this?Will she be able to keep her promise?With everyone brutally murdering each other her bow and arrow are her only faithful companions.......

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT...........
Katniss has defied the Capitol and its wretched rules.She not only saved her life but also of Peeta's.But now she must pay.For daring to defy President Snow.For becoming a symbol for the people.For inspiring them to rebel.Giving them hope that yes they can stand against Snow.With her every move monitored it appears that she not the only one who will pay.District 12 is reliving its past under cruel peacekeepers who are pouncing on the inhabitants like hunger predators.
Also her love life is in crises.As she realizes that she will have to marry Peeta against her will and make a spectacle of it too.
Will Snow manage to break her apart completely?Will she be able to save her loved ones?Will she survive it?

THE MOVIE!!!!
The movie was amazing.The costumes that Katniss(JLaw)
wore were mind blowing.And don't even get me started about Finnick Odair!!!I'll tell you why.....

Okay and for the most important part,they stuck to the book completely.So it was fantastic.Watch it.

My answer will be the Twilight Series by Stephine Meyer,I loved this series and Edward Cullen was my biggest crush but frankly it doesn't hold that spark for me anymore.No offence to all the Twi hards.

I pick Harry Potter by J K Rowlings.Its the most amazing series ever.

This is a difficult one.I pick The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare and if you have read it then you know what i'm talking about in the first 3 books or so.

5)Innocent:pick a book with ruined ending

If I Stay by Gayle Forman and The Fault in Our Stars by John Green.I'm going to be reviewing them soon.

6)Everything has changed:a book with great character development
Kiss of Deception by Mary E Pearson and Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead.Both Lia and Rose go through great character development.

7)I Knew You were Trouble:a character you couldn't help falling in love for
The Selection series by Kiera Cass.I'm talking about Kile and Maxon.Amazing series.

8)Forever and Always:pick my favorite couple
America/Maxon ,Percy/Annabeth ,Aelin/Rowan the list is endless.

9)You Belong With Me:most anticipated release
Beauty of Darkness by Mary E Pearson and Throne of Glass #5 by Sarah J Maas.I just can't wait for these books and then their is The Crown by Kiera Cass oh the list is endless.....

THE HUNGER GAMES(THG#1)

Mockingjay part 2 one of the most anticipated movies of 2015 came out sometime ago.All us tributes were sad to see The Hunger Games wrap up.But "may the odds be ever in your favor" is still ringing in my ears.So today i'm going to review the first book and movie in the series.
A Brief Introduction........
This story is set in a dystopian world called Panem(in ruins of North America) and it has 12 districts.Every year The Capitol holds a game called hunger games in which a boy and a girl from each district is chosen to compete till their death.This done to make the people not rebel against the brutal Capitol.

Oh.My.God.This book comes second after Harry potter and its not for me its world wide survey saying.This book or rather the series is phenomenal.It blew mt mind into shards.I couldn't put this book down once i started it.

Movie Review........
You don't need to know anything other than that this movie has stuck to the book and to its each word.The cast is "perfect".This movie is perfect.

A COURT OF THRONES AND ROSES.....

I just finished reading this book  and  this book has blown my mind away completely.If you loved Throne of Glass by her then you are definitely going to love this book.Also if you are into retelling of classics this book is a retelling of beauty and the beast.But it has become a story of its own like in the case of Throne of Glass.

Feyre is a huntress.At a young age of nineteen she holds the responsibility of feeding her family.One day when out of desperation she enters further into the enchanted forests to hunt(warning:this could lead to her death)she encounters a abnormally large wolf.She suspects it to be a faerie.Out of desperation and pure hate towards the fae for what they had done to the humans she kills it with a white ash arrow.Things change when one night a fae creature comes to take revenge for what she had done.The thing takes her beyond the magical borders into his lands where she is allowed to move around but forbiddened to escape .She also discovers that the creature keeping her captive is one of the most feared High Fae,Tamlin. As the time passes she sees the world through new eyes.Also her feelings or Tamlin begin to change......

My Experience.......
This book was such a good read for me.It left me speechless.One of my best reads of this year.This book has put Sarah J Maas on my favorite authors list.It was amazing.

Why should you read it?

THE VAMPIRE STALKER

We all wish that all the characters that we claim to love existed in real life.Well i for one wish that.But provided they are single that is.Now imagine if that actually happens.......

Oh My God.This book had everything that a fangirl ever fantasizes about.This book is situated in present Chicago and a dystopian Chicago.Amy our protagonist loves the Otherworld series and also writes fanfiction. The second book to her favourite series has just come out and she and her friends are super excited.Though her crush is Alexander Banks a vampire hunter her friends prefer his sweet peace loving brother James.Everything changes as one night while returning from a school dance she is hurled by a man suspiciously looking like Vigo(the evil vampire)but is saved by a guy who looks like Alexander.It turns out that her saver doesn't just look like her fantasy crush but impossibly is her fantasy crush.Also along with him the world's most sadist and notorious vampire Vigo has come to life....

Amy is determined to save her Chicago from the evil that is threatening to destroy her world and help Alex to do so.

My Experience.....
Speechless.That's what i am after reading this amazing novel.It was a fantastic,amazing read for me.I  highly recommend it to all of you......

Why should you read it?
Frankly if the review is not gross enough for you to read it then i don't know want will inspire you to read it.It is a mind blowing novel and totally worth your time.READ IT.

                      FANGIRL.......

If you are thinking after reading this title that is it about a fangirl,then my friend you are right in thinking so.And it is not mainly about a fangirl fangirling though that's in the background.This is amazing fiction novel which I recommend to anybody who reads books.

Cather is a freshmen in collage.Lately she is being pushed around by her twin Wren to do things she doesn't want to,one being leaving their father alone and moving out.Her room mate is a dick and her life is spiraling down.Scared of social interactions Cath  hides in her room most of the time with protein bars as her main sustenance.The only thing that keeps her going is her fanfiction. Apparently our socially awkward Cath is quite famous on social media.Also their is this sweet guy Levi who is always willing to help her and is the one whom Cather has a huge crush on.But he is also her roommate's boyfriend.
With the pressure of her fans to complete her Simon Snow fanfiction,her sister treating her like a piece of dirt,horrors of her past revisiting and this unresistable guy around her life is one hell of a mess........

My Experience.....
Oh My God.This book has been one of my best read this year.This book was so amazing that I read straight through the day and finished it and believe me that's a rare occurrence for me.This book signifies one thing that I have experienced myself,that is,when their is no one else there for you their are always books.

Why should you read it?

*constant feeling of what is going to happen next

HOW TO GET OUT OF READING SLUMPS?#readersprobs

 ADVANTAGES OF READING CONTEMPORARY NOVELS...........

One solution to all these questions.
Their are brief periods when us readers don't feel like reading anything period.In readers world this disease has a name.Reading Slump.Don't worry if you are suffering from it cause i got a perfect solution to cure this.

How to get out of a reading slump?

Usually we (readers) get reading slumps when we have been reading series of books one after other.What happens is our mind is too amazed and in awe of these series.It can't take any more of amazing!!!As a result we don't feel like reading.What to do then?
Answer:

• Take a day or two off doing something other than reading like watching movie adaptations or listening to music or whatever you enjoy except reading
• Then take a light contemporary novel like Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell,The Vampire Stalker by Alison van Diepen(don't judge by the name),How to fall in love by Cecilia Ahern etc.
• These light hearted novel will rejuvenate you and will get you back on track
• I also suggest you continue reading light stuff before jumping into any intense exhilarating novels
• If you want to start a series then try a Rick Riordan's book.He has  excellent sense of humor.I personally suggest Magnus Chase and the Sword of the Summer.

Or you could take a break for a while,Seriously anything that helps you.

But don't let reading become a burden on you!!!!!
