Every one has a different definition for romance. Apparently back in 1986 romance was not so cheezy as we know it now...

Eleanor is the newbie in the school.Park is the Asian kid who wants nothing more than to be ignored.When Eleanor walks into the bus wearing men clothes looking weird as hell everyone makes fun of her but Park taking pity on her allows her to sit beside him.We follow this story in dual POV.

Eleanor:She has come back home after being kicked out by her stepfather last year.With 5 siblings she has never enough for herself.Living this miserable life Eleanor doesn't wants to let anyone in.Being slightly fat doesn't help her case instead just gives the bullies another point to mock her.

Park:Park is a nerdy guy who loves reading comics and listening to music.He wants nothing more than to be ignored and left alone by the bullies.He also thinks that he is a huge disappointment to his father as he can not drive a stick.

We follow the story of Eleanor and Park as they fight their own demons and as these two completely different people fall in love.This a beautiful story of first love where you have everything and nothing to lose.
